Mechanical Condition Inspection

The Mechanical Condition Inspection Program is a major Maintenance Program. All of Council's assets with an electrical component are inspected at least annually in accordance with the cycle documented in the Asset Maintenance Management System.

Depending on the asset, various checks are undertaken.

Purpose

The purpose of this inspection is to firstly inspect and report on the condition of mechanical items owned and operated by Council. Minor corrective actions are also undertaken during this inspection. The reports submitted are used to generate larger tasks as well as future budget requests.
